This week, my family is on
holiday vacation at home.
What a beautiful thing!
No alarm clocks,
no deadlines,
no projects,
no stress.
And, perhaps best of all,
there’s time every day
for an afternoon cat nap for us…
and a dog nap for Daisy.
Here she’s curled up
with my Nana,
looking so peaceful and content.
We all need a break
now and then
just to remember what it’s like
to rest and unwind.
