I drive by this bank sign
nearly every day
and it always lifts my spirits,
no matter how cheesy the quote.
I’ve never once seen them
post a message about money;
no special offers to lure in
new customers.
Just a sweet new saying
every couple of days
that reminds me
to think good thoughts
and count my blessings.
Gosh, maybe I need
to switch banks!
