Two distinctly different pictures, but I couldn’t choose.
First, we’ve got a real-life purple haze
above the trees.
So calming and serene.
Just lovely.
Secondly, my little guy
got new shoes today
and he’s gone up another size.
He’s growing so fast
and the shoes look so big
compared to what he wore
even 6 months ago.
But then I noticed them sitting
right next to his Daddy’s boots
at the back door.
I realized how much growing
he still has to do
and smiled to think
that he’ll be following
some big, wonderful footsteps.
