I had perfect timing this morning.
I passed by the front window
at just the right moment
and was blinded by this
brilliant, blazing sunrise.
Sixty seconds later,
I would have missed it.
But I didn’t. I was present.
I stood there for that minute
and just watched it rise
above the trees
and then blend in with the sky.
Talk about a day brightener!
