Another great sunset tonight.
So great that the boy and I
chased it for a while,
driving west as the sun went down,
watching it flicker behind the trees,
hoping we would find an open spot
to just take it in.
We came to a frozen lake,
pulled over and admired the purple sky.
The perfect way to end a week,
a perfect moment to whisper thank you
for all that is good.
