I tried to take a picture
of the snow falling in the night.
Not sure why some of it
showed up as yellow streaks,
and the rest as white snowflakes,
but I like what I got.

As for the fact that snow is falling
on April 10th,
I’m choosing to see it as a gift.
It helps that I’ve been muttering the
Serenity Prayer
all evening to myself:

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

I cannot change the falling snow,
so I might as well find beauty in it.

Today marks the halfway point
of One Year of Beauty!
So far, so good.
