FINE ART: PLATES TO PETALS
I simply couldn’t choose
which photo to share with you today
because I love them both.
The first proves the importance of presentation.
A chocolate chestnut cake
with a scoop of cherry vanilla ice cream
(in the shape of a chestnut!),
served with a bit of flair from the chef.
It tasted as good as it looked!
The second is probably one of my favorite
pictures from this entire project.
Taken today while my son and I
picked out flowers at a nearby nursery,
this blossom just stuns me.
Look at the variation in color on each petal,
the perfect purple and gold center,
and the aura that radiates
from its core.
Though two very different subjects,
they’re wonderful examples
of the fine art in our midst.
