Last fall,
my mom and my four-year-old
planted some seeds
in our backyard garden.
Throughout the winter,
my little gardener asked me
if the seeds were okay under the snow
and if the flowers would still grow
in the springtime.
Now, the tulips have finally blossomed.
I’m not sure who’s more proud…
the four-year-old or the flower!
Look at how they both just shine.
