My family went rabbit hunting today.
To us, that means a walk through
the neighborhood looking for bunnies.
If we find one, we try to take a picture.
No bunnies today,
but lots of other creatures great and small.
While I was watching for cars
and sweating bullets in the heat,
my four-year-old noticed
all these wonderful animals
that my hubby and I
never would have seen!
From the gorgeous green caterpillar,
to a deer lounging in the shade
(can you see her?),
to the gorgeous Great White egret
standing tall in a nearby pond,
we had company
all along our walk.
