Today I noticed this basket
of fresh limes and lemons
in my kitchen.
They’re always there.
I restock them regularly.
But I never really notice them.
For some reason,
that bright green and yellow fruit
caught my attention today
and perked me up a bit.
Hey, when life gives you lemons
