I feel like this blog
is turning into tales from
Wild Animal Kingdom!
This evening,
I was sitting at a stop light
on a very busy road
when a mama deer
appeared out of nowhere
and leapt into the road
right in front of me,
followed by her two little fawns.
It took me a moment
to grab my camera,
so this picture of the fawns
running to safety
is pretty fuzzy.
But it was another
wonderful surprise
to have such beauty
quite literally
cross my path today.
