This is our view from the plane
as we descended upon
the Las Vegas desert.
I love seeing how the earth
is naturally shaped by
wind and rain and erosion.
Rather than a flat, boring landscape,
we’re given ridges and buttes
and ribbons in the sand.
Stunning.
