fresh flowers cure frostbite?
Maybe not literally,
but these precious little ones
sure helped me ‘think spring’
while we shivered through
below-zero temps
the past several days.
I can come in from the cold,
nostrils numb
and fingers frozen,
and be instantly warmed
by their cheery welcome.
