I was at my friend’s house
yesterday
when her toddler decided to strip off
every bit of clothing
but his Converse high-tops!
He was absolutely gleeful,
giggling as each piece of clothing
dropped to the floor,
not a worry in the world
or a smidgen of self-consciousness.
What a delight to see him
celebrate his little body
and the spirit within it.
