Oh, beautiful berries!
How could I resist?
Deep red,
so lovely and luscious,
they whisper to me that
spring is lurking just
around the corner
and already happening
in some other place.
I savor their sweetness,
feel the tiny seeds on my tongue,
eat them right down to the stem.
They TASTE beautiful.
