People seem to have a little extra
spring in their step,
knowing this is a new day,
the start of a new season.
Where I live,
it’s still quite chilly
and there’s snow on the ground
(tulips only exist indoors right now),
but the declaration that spring is here
provides hope and promise to all.
Spring is in the air
and stirring in our souls;
time to come out from hibernation
and bloom!
