I was backing out
of the grocery store parking lot
when I felt someone watching me.
It was this little Bichon,
sneaking a peek at me
while she patiently waited for her
owner to return.
Look at that sweet face
and the longing in those eyes.
I had to stop my car mid-departure
and snap her picture
through the window.
It was a chilly day,
but seeing that little furball
made me feel all warm & fuzzy!
