I really appreciate businesses
that use their presence
and influence in the community
to promote positive thinking.
I have never seen
this sign highlighting deals or news
from the bank it stands in front of.
Rather, there’s a motivational message
posted every couple of days;
a glimmer of hope and inspiration
for the thousands of drivers
who pass by each day,
not to mention the bank’s customers.
That sign at Mid-County Bank
has lifted my spirits
or improved my mood
too many times to count,
and I bet I’m not alone.
