I feel so lucky

to have a not-so-little brother

who gets a kick out of my kids,

turns life into art,

knows something about everything,

makes me laugh till I hurt,

and is a walking definition

of authenticity.

I wish I could pluck happiness

out of the clouds

and give him enough

to last all the days of his life.

After years of hiding my lifelong relationship with the angels, I finally realized that gift was there for a reason — and that tons of other people are hiding their own amazing gifts, mystical experiences and curiosities about this great big, benevolent universe we’re part of.
