Well, what a little show-off!
I bought this hibiscus plant on a whim,
hoping its tightly closed buds
would soon open in response
to sitting by a sunlit window.
Did they ever!
They settled into their new home,
by the front window,
and literally opened up overnight.
Amazing how a little light
is sometimes all we need
to bloom and grow.
