I realize these aren’t all that pretty
at first glance,
nor do they look very appetizing,
but believe me:
if your tastebuds could talk,
they’d say these pumpkin cookies
are simply stunning.
They’re a seasonal treat
made by a local restaurant chain,
D’Amico & Sons,
and when they show up in the bakery case
my whole family starts salivating.
I don’t even care how they look;
they taste beautiful.
