This little girl took my breath away today.
We went to the Landscape Arboretum
where I didn’t think I could find anything
more beautiful than the sweet spring tulips.
And then I saw her,
this gorgeous girl named Deborah
standing by a fountain,
dressed head to toe in traditional Hmong clothing
to take photos with her family.
She looked like a garden unto herself,
beads sparkling in the sunlight,
fabric the color of those spring flowers behind her,
eyes dancing beneath that amazing tribal hat.
She is SPRING personified!
