I knew I loved Lori Portka before I even knew her. This big ol’ blogosphere is so wild that way, giving us access to people we could have spent our whole life not knowing – and what a shame that would be! This Web we weave each day has connected me, quite incredibly, to old friends and new ones, including the ever- lovely Lori. We finally got to meet in October at our awesome artist retreat and it was totally crazy to be sitting across from this girl – this sweet, melt-your-heart soul sister – instead of looking at her on a computer screen! To hear her voice! To taste her cooking! To watch her make her art! I was (and, clearly, still am) smitten.
Lori just added a bunch of new art to her etsy shop, including the fine art print above – called Your Friendship – that made my heart skip a beat when I saw it.
