$6.20. That’s all I paid for a paper bag full of mouth-watering Mexican desserts from the super-festive, totally yummy
Mi Tierra restaurant and bakery in San Antonio. One glass case after another showcases trays loaded with home-baked goodies. It’s
hard impossible to resist!

We got five cookies, two brownies and and emapanada – and I was shocked that the total at the cash register was a mere $6.20. No wonder you have to take a number and stand in line just to order some sweets!

Open 24 hours a day,
Mi Tierra is decked out for the holidays with gold papel picado – cut-out paper banners or flags hung from the ceilings – that’s accented with twinkling lights. Plus, there are Christmas trees, wreaths, and special wall hangings everywhere you look. Add in the mariachi band walking around and it makes for the most fun, festive place to eat and celebrate the season! Lucky us!
