Oh golly gee whiz! I am drinking in the heartfelt, thoughtful insights shared in response to yesterday’s post. Thank you to those who took a moment to help me define what I do-be-do-be-do! It’s so helpful to get your perspectives, so keep ’em coming!
Do you believe in signs? Yeah, me too. I’m super-jazzed about the changes I’m working on behind the scenes {coming to a website near you this fall!}. But it always comforts me to get some validation for the choices I’m making. And when I’m plugged into my purpose and passions, I often get inundated with signs – unusual objects or experiences that catch my attention and mean something special to me.
Over the past few weeks, as I’ve been imagining and intending the next big steps in my life’s work, dragonflies have appeared in abundance. I remember seeing them occasionally in past summers; right now, it’s become comical how often they’re buzzing around me or sitting waiting for me in odd places {like the car antenna above!}.
I know that dragonflies represent transformation to many, so I figured they kept showing up to cheer on the changes I’m making. But only this week did I look deeper into the symbolism attached to these winged wonders. I was floored by how deeply the messages of the dragonfly align with where I am right now.
This site says that dragonflies are only able to fly during the last few months of their lives, so they live life to the fullest while they spread their wings. Quite literally, the dragonfly represents living in the moment and delivers this message:

You are aware of who you are, where you are, what you are doing, what you want, what you don’t and make informed choices on a moment-to-moment basis.

Wow! That gave me goosebumps! Then I meandered over to this site and was amazed to read the following:

The dragonfly’s colors are a result of reflecting the power of light…they remind us that we are made of light and we can reflect light in powerful ways if we choose to.

Reading those spot-on descriptions of where I’m at in this process and what I’m focusing on {even some of your comments focused on light!} just reconfirms for me that there is such magic in the air. I’m reminded how, when I declare my dreams and set my intentions, the universe delivers exactly what I need – including tiny winged messengers.
{Tomorrow, read what my hubby has to say about all of this. It left me breathless!}
