Happy Friday, dear hearts! I was so excited to see how many of you participated in the link party for The Little Bliss List last week – either by commenting with your favorite joys of the week or by linking up your own blogs. Cool to see so much gratitude floating about out there!
The Little Bliss List is a chance for us to celebrate the little things that brought us hope and happiness this week. I do believe when we focus on the sweet stuff of life, the sweet stuff multiplies. And by sharing those small gifts in our lives, we help others notice the gifts in theirs.
So, here’s my Little Bliss List for the week…
1) I felt so grateful as I sat at the car dealership, waiting for someone to come tell me my oil change and tire rotation was done. Grateful to have a vehicle and to be able to afford keeping it in good shape.
2) We celebrated Ryder’s ninth birthday this week – and our ninth anniversary as parents. What a wild ride it’s been! I love that kid like crazy and my heart went pitter-patter when he told us the thing he was looking forward to most was hearing his principal announce his name over the loudspeaker! So sweet.
<—– 3) I felt so lucky that our family had the chance to meet some Minnesota Twins at a special event {Ryder wore his Denard Span jersey…and got to meet Denard Span!}
4) Two gorgeous deer showed up in our back yard; the first time I’ve ever seen any in over six years of living in this house. It was a magical moment, for sure.
5) I totally love discovering new and innovative tools or resources {yay, entrepreneurs!!}, so I’m thrilled to be experimenting with the beta edition of the Linky Followers tool, which will come in handy for bloggers as Google Friend Connect disappears. 6) I’m breathing in the book Soul Currency by Ernest Chu. It sat on my shelf for ages, but called out to me this week – perfect timing, wonderful message.
