Every Friday, the Little Bliss List provides a chance for us to celebrate the little things that brought us hope and happiness this week. I do believe when we focus on the sweet stuff of life, the sweet stuff multiplies. And by sharing those small gifts in our lives, we help others notice the gifts in theirs.

Oh, you guys. There is something about bright sunshine and spring temps that just makes the world seem a little more wonderful, right? Such was the case this past week, as spring arrived on our doorstep {waaaaaay earlier than usual} and drew attention to tons of bliss in my midst. A few highlights…

1) I spent a girls’ weekend with my childhood friend Tracy, who flew in from Seattle to spend two nights at a downtown hotel. How fun is that!? We got to stay out late, sleep in, hang with dear friends, take leisurely strolls through gift shops {with no one pulling on our legs or begging us to goooooo!}, eat and drink wherever and whenever we wanted, and watch a Jersey Shore marathon with our jaws in our laps. Way fun. Cheers!

2) I heard birds singing outside my back door. Singing! In March! Glorious.

3) Speaking of singing, Truman’s rendition of Owl City’s Fireflies song just melts my heart every time he sings it {and that’s ALL the time}. I finally caught it on video and posted it on Facebook yesterday. I know I’m biased, but I’m pretty sure it’ll give you a little dose of bliss, too.

4) On Wednesday morning, my 7am alarm didn’t go off – and the boys and I didn’t wake up until 9:30!! I could have freaked out about Ryder being soooo late to school, but chose instead to laugh at the situation. Clearly, we all needed some good rest…so rest we did!

And what warmed YOUR heart this week? Write your own bliss list and share it in the comment section or via your own blog.
