Every Friday, the Little Bliss List provides a chance for us to celebrate the little things that brought us hope and happiness this week. I do believe when we focus on the sweet stuff of life, the sweet stuff multiplies. And by sharing those small gifts in our lives, we help others notice the gifts in theirs.

I’m popping in today with a brief bliss list – not due to a lack a bliss, but rather an abundance of it. I’m in Tennessee for several more days, working intensively with teens and adults from around the U.S. and U.K. to define their sparks – what makes them come alive – and how they can use those gifts to better the world.

We’re all bursting with bliss! Yesterday, we did one of my favorite things – created inspiration/vision boards and for most, it was their first time truly envisioning with images and words how bright their futures can be. I nearly cried as they each excitedly shared them and posted them up for all to see. Meaningful, life-altering stuff.

So…my bliss list this week includes…

1) Seeing a super shy kid become passionately vocal about ecology.

2) Watching connections deepen between kids and the caring adults who traveled with them.

3) Witnessing the opening of hearts and minds, young and old.

4) Laughter, laughter, laughter.

5) Knowing my own kids, back home, are having a blast with their daddy and caregivers. Not worrying about them frees me up to give my heart to this all week.

I’d LOVE to know how happiness has woven its way into your lives this week. Share your own little bliss list in the comment section or via your own blog – and please visit others who post their bliss here {just click on their photos below}! If you prefer, you can participate in the link party below through Sunday at midnight central.
