Every Friday, the Little Bliss List provides a chance for us to celebrate the little things that brought us hope and happiness this week. I do believe when we focus on the sweet stuff of life, the sweet stuff multiplies. And by sharing those small gifts in our lives, we help others notice the gifts in theirs.
Okay, I’ve got to be honest: this week was a total blur. Do you ever have weeks like that, where you can barely remember your own name , much less what you did three days ago? Yeah, well…that’s where I am. Looking back, I have to think harder than usual to dig up the happiest moments, which is so important for me to do. I never want the best part of my life to pass me by. So here goes…
1) I am buried in projects right now, but they’re all with people I love and include work that makes my heart sing.
2) My in-laws visited from Texas this week and we hadn’t seen them in many months. It was fun to see my boys fall right back into a groove with them, eager to show them every toy they own and talent they possess {Grandma! Watch me pitch! Grandpa! Look at my trucks!”}
3) The baseball field is our home-away-from-home these days. Brad is the coach and Ryder’s currently obsessed with all things baseball. The team has had a rough season, but I’m always inspired to see how much fun the kids are having, regardless of the score.
4) Some of the students in my blogging course participated in a linky party this week, stretching their wings and learning to fly. I hope you’ve checked out their authentic, courageous blog posts – they’re so touching!
5) We had a little family party for my “little” brother’s birthday, which included lots of laughs.
Ahh, that feels so much better at the end of a frenzied week, recalling what brought me joy. Wanna do the same?
