SOLD OUT — Great Promise

This is the painting I started working on with the angels when I grew overwhelmed and anxious about a larger piece, called Intersection, that I shared recently. So I started working on it feeling tired, rigid and unsure; but eventually that shifted, and I was able to relax and get back into the flow. Now that it’s done, a deep peace washes over me every time I see it and read the message they delivered upon its completion. I hope it does the same for you…

GREAT PROMISE
Clear away the cobwebs and pull open the curtains
until you notice glimmers of stars and sun and angels
bouncing off you,
dancing ‘round you,
moving through you.
A safety net is woven
from each speck and splash of light
and cast out across the universe
to catch you, carry you, save you
from a life that does not match
the expectations of your soul.
Lean back and trust the light.
Feel your feet leave the well-worn road,
you stomach spin with anticipation
and then lift off, flying with ease,
the way you promised God you would
on your way here.
