Another snow storm
is passing through.
Last night,
when I opened the screen door,
I saw that the snow and ice
had created a kind of ribbon effect
next to the door frame.
How did it do that!?
By this morning,
the ribbon had a couple of
lovely little loops!
I can’t figure out how or why
it formed this way
or how either version
of this snow sculpture
remained in place.
Guess all I can do is accept it as
a sweet bit of magic
stopping by my doorstep.
