I recently attended a bridal shower
and, of course, there were games.
We were handed sheets of tin foil
and told to make a tiara
for the bride-to-be.
Sounds relatively easy, right?
Wrong.

It was practically impossible
to sculpt anything remotely pretty
with foil that crumpled or ripped
with every little fold or twist I made.
Needless to say,
I did not win the challenge.

But I did realize something:
I now have
an even greater appreciation
for the masterpieces
that Mother Nature creates
out of paper thin petals
and slender stems.
The complexity and artistry
is mind-boggling.
Just think what she could do
with tin foil!
